Stages of Learning was a learning partnership between six European countries, Austria, Finland, Germany, Poland, Turkey and the United Kingdom. It was noticed at the beginning of the project that there are two possible ways to look at the subject.
The aim of the project was to develop the education provision offered by the partner organisations in performing arts and related fields, as well as to improve the participation in the activities of the organisations.
You can either teach arts from an artistic point of view, or you can educate through art with the focus of teaching people skills they need in their everyday lives. In the project the partners tried to combine these two aspects.
